While I was able to successfully print a few DND miniatures, it’s worth noting that this printer is not specifically designed for miniatures. If your primary focus is printing miniatures, I would recommend considering a different printer that is more specialized for that purpose. However, for my personal needs, which primarily involve printing cosplay props, this printer has been a great choice.

Excellent Printer. Went together fast, very few parts to assemble. The bed is very grippy so don’t get the nozzle to jammed into it or its hard to detach. The sprite extruder is wonderful and has printed a full roll with no issues what so ever. It is smooth, silent and so far trouble free. My only suggestion would be to use higher quality or different roller wheels as they build up dust as they print over the hours. I have to clean them after every print. It was the only printer I had during a power outage that was able to restore the print properly, the build plate held onto the print where my glass plate released when it cooled down. The S1 was able to start up again and finish the print saving me several hours and filament in the process. It was my first creality machine and so far I am happy with my purchase and recommend this printer.

This is my first 3d printer, I have no knowledge of any other version for comparison I have actually never seen one in person before. I was able to set this up and level the bed within an hour and started printing one of the files that comes with it. I can tell you I have not stopped finding stuff to make or print because its easy and fun. I did upgrade to the all metal print head for printing better with ABS and added the water cooling. this printer makes it fun to learn how to enjoy this hobby and I highly recommend it.

I am amazed by this 3D printer, especially considering it’s my first one. The initial test print yielded excellent results, and as I continued to print various objects, I only needed to make minor tweaks, which were effortlessly manageable thanks to the product’s user-friendly adjustment and fine-tuning capabilities.

Printer works as expected, first print was a success. Easy to install and the Ender 3 s1 combines all the upgrades available for Ender 3 and Ender 3 v2. Maybe still a bit expensive, but it was released in December 2021. Cons: the extruder head had a bent connector (see picture) who interfered with the installation and the fitment of the head to the metal support on the x axis. I had to bent it back carefully by myself, with the risk to crack the two small connectors. I think this is the most important and expensive part and this should not happen especially when you pay almost 600 dollars. For the rest i would strongly suggest this printer. UPDATE: the seller contacted me to ask more about it and offered me the spare part at no extra cost.

Im a total noob at 3D printing, and it took about an 1hr 30 to assemble the printer and another 30 min or so to level the bed. I followed the instructions provided, and didn’t have much issues putting it together. The printer did have a bit of wobble at first, but that was fixed by loosening the pre assembled bottom fram a little, making sure it was flat, and retightening the screws. Leveling the bed took a bit of time, but once u get the hang of it, its not that hard. My first print failed since I didnt know about printbed adhesion on glass plates, but that was quickly resolve by using some aquanet hairspray on the bed. Amazed at the quality of print that this budget printer can do !

Just purchased the Ender 3 S1 and love it. I really like the new direct drive. My only issue is with the removable print plate. I like for my prints to stick to the plate until they are finished……but when you can not get the plate to release after cooling down, that is a problem. Print plate is destroyed after 2nd print. a dime sized chunk came off and is stuck to the bottom of my print. Luckily I had an extra PIE coated spring steel plate that I was able to use.
