I finally made the leap and bought a 3D printer. I had no experience, but after a little research I was sold on the Ender 3 Max Neo. Right out of the box it was a breeze getting it put together. Once removing it from the box in the 2 pieces that it comes in, all you have to do is slide the gantry in place and secure it with the 4 screws. After getting the bed leveled, which is demonstrated in the video that comes with the documentation on SD card that came with the unit, I printed the boat and the bunny. They came out perfect. 10 out of 10, I would definitely recommend this printer to anyone that was looking to either get started or add to their collection.

It’s remarkable how something so intricate can be affordable and user-friendly. While some technical knowledge is required, the included directions make setup and printing unbelievably easy. It only took me three tries to get perfect prints, whereas others seem to achieve it on their first attempt. Impressive!

This is a large format printer giving me a generous 300x300x320 area to work with. This printer has a lot of upgrades that I have previously added to my Creality Ender 3 Pro including a BL Touch and filament sensor. The design looked like it borrowed quite a bit from the Creality Ender 3 S1 series of printers. It has the dual Z axis with the synchronization belt, the tool drawer, and a similar screen. The difference between the S1 screen and this one is that this screen is not a touch screen. I wish Creality would have taken the same approach as BIQU and gave us both a knob and touch control, but I found the knob control to be sufficient for what it needed to do. The Creality Ender 3 Max Neo had the easiest assembly of any printer I have ever set up. It is literally a matter of screwing in the gantry, screwing in the display, attaching the spool holder, and attaching three wires. It really is a printer that someone could set up in less than 10 minutes if they knew how to set one up. I would say that this is a good value. Not only does it give a large build area, but it contains all of the extras that I mentioned above.
