From opening the box to my first test burn was less than 15 minutes. Incredible easy setup. It just works. Back and forth from printer to engraver is about 2 minutes if I take my time. The level of precision and detail I get out of this system is wonderful. Ender-3 Pro.

Really fast set up on my Ender 3 pro. The hardest part was figuring out how to hang the bracket. Works well and so far I’ve cut 3mm red and black acrylic, 3mm Baltic birch plywood, and paper. It can cut all of those in one pass. I’ve also used the Norton method to etch a ceramic tile, and I’ve etched an aluminum business card painted black. Lightburn works well. Just remember to home before starting your job if you move the bed. The z axis is heavy and may want to lower itself, so a small clamp on the vertical support just below the cross bar helps. I do recommend getting an enclosure because there will be fumes. I’m using a shop vac with a custom 3d printed attachment to blow the exhaust outside my garage. I don’t recommend using any laser cutters in your house because of the fumes. I also use a honeycomb bed, a sheet of Laser shielding acrylic to go over the enclosure door, and od8 goggles for the 455nm laser because the included ones don’t seem to have an od ratings mark. Of course the trade off of getting this kit is that you save money by not getting the falcon frame and motors, but your bed size is much smaller than the full sized falcon engraver. If you’re only doing ender 3 bed-sized projects, then this works well!
