After previously owning an Ender 3 Pro and CR10 Smart, I decided to purchase this printer for mini-busts and to introduce my nieces to 3D printing. It’s perfect for children and a great way to get them involved. However, if you’re an adult and looking for a larger print volume, you might prefer a bigger printer. Nevertheless, this printer is an incredible piece of technology, and I highly recommend it for its ease of use and versatility.

Bowden tube was not fully inserted into the hotend so I was consistently getting prints that would end up failing after 10-15 minutes of printing with clogs building up in the end of the bowden tube. I have trimmed the stock tube, and re-seated it in the hotend to see if I can get the prints working without paying for a capricorn right away, but I will be getting one down the line either way. It seems like a great printer, but it seems QC doesn’t check how well seated the bowden tubes are as I am starting to see it is a more common issue in brand new E2 Pros. I do find the new fan shroud on E3 V2 neos and this one to be too big as I can’t access the bowden tube coupling without removing the shroud and typically removing some hotend assembly to have room to loosen the coupling.

I received this product approximately a month ago, and I absolutely loved it. However, after the second print, I noticed some strange staining on the magnetic plate and bubbling issues. Before I could investigate further, I received an email from Tom of their team, inquiring about my experience and satisfaction. I mentioned the plate problem, and without any cost, they promptly sent me a replacement. Their communication was excellent, and now, the prints are even better. I highly recommend this product and will definitely consider purchasing other Creality products in the future.

Every endeavor comes with a learning curve, and 3D printing is no exception. It’s crucial to keep that in mind. If you’re not willing to invest time in watching videos and reading blogs to learn the ropes, this may not be the right fit for you. Thankfully, this printer required minimal adjustments right out of the box. Assembly was a breeze, and it has been churning out prints continuously, effortlessly handling over 4 1kg spools of plastic in the past week. I must say, I’m thoroughly impressed with its performance.

The Ender 2 Pro is an exceptional 3D printer, particularly suited for beginners. The setup process is incredibly straightforward, and calibration is a breeze. The print quality is excellent, surpassing even my experiences with the Ender 3 and the Halot resin printer. Without a doubt, the Ender 2 Pro is the most user-friendly option to kickstart your 3D printing journey. If you’re looking to delve into 3D printing, this is undoubtedly the ideal starting point.
