I must say, this resin printer has consistently delivered outstanding results with every resin I’ve tried. It performed flawlessly right out of the box, and even after several months of extensive use, it hasn’t encountered any noteworthy problems. The level of quality it consistently achieves is truly impressive. I’ve experimented with various resins, and each time, the printer has exceeded my expectations. Its reliability and durability make it a top-notch choice for 3D printing enthusiasts.

The thing about resin printing is the post-printing work. Once you have one printer, you’ll have everything you need. Curing system (I DIY’s one with a paint can and UV LED halloween light), washing station (pickle straining jar and IPA) and so on. Adding a second resin printer is no biggie. Comparing this to my $250 smaller printer, there’s so much to dote on. Yes, it has a larger build area and, yes it’s beefier. The USB port is in the front, not the side like with my other printer. I had to use an adapter cable so I could get that one where I wanted it and be able to plug in the USB key without turning the printer around. Having the port in the front is common sense and a lot more convenient (it’s often the small things…) The BIG improvement is dual linear rails. That keeps the plate parallel and that equals more reliable prints. Built-in carbon filter that can be changed-out with 4 screws. Large color touch-screen. No power brick – it’s also built-in. It’s solidly built and holds a large volume of resin (650 ml.) Slicers: I use Lychee and Chitubox, and both work with the printer. Build: Really solid. Feels fantastic.

The intriguing aspect of resin printing lies in the post-printing process. Once you acquire a resin printer, you’ll have all the necessary tools at your disposal. For instance, I created a DIY curing system using a paint can and a UV LED Halloween light, and a washing station with a pickle straining jar and IPA. Even incorporating a second resin printer is hassle-free. In comparison to my smaller $250 printer, the possibilities and advantages are numerous, giving me so much more to admire and appreciate.

For the past year or so I’ve been really getting into 3d printing and I wanted to try my hand at resin printing. This model seemed like it had many great features and would ease me into the world of resin printing. After using it for a couple of weeks, I can say that it is easy and I can’t think of many cons when talking about this printer. The darker cover does make it difficult to see how the print is turning out but there are so many other great features with this printer that it can easily be overlooked. I really like the screen and the convenient location of the ports. The prints that I’ve produced so far have been excellent quality and though some people might yearn for a larger print bed, it has been able to tackle even some of my larger prints. I would recommend this printer to those getting started and also veteran resin artists.

I absolutely adore this printer. Previously, I used an FDM printer, but as a miniatures enthusiast, I decided to venture into the world of resin printing, known for its excellence with miniatures. I must admit, there’s a steep learning curve compared to FDM, but once you grasp the nuances, this printer operates flawlessly! The level of detail is astonishing, and any failed prints were solely due to my own errors. The quality this 3D printer delivers at its price point is simply astounding!

So far impressed. We have a Form2 in our print lab and I haven’t had much experience with it, so I bought the Halot One Plus to keep in my office so I can have some hands on experience. The print quality exceeded my expectations, based on what I had seen from the Form 2. Only issue is having to enter the password for some stupid reason in order to print through wifi. It doesn’t seem to want to save. Also, WHERE CAN I BUY MORE TRAYS?? I would like to be able to keep a couple of trays ready with different resins loaded so I can swap them easily.

I’m a veteran 3d printer, from my Prusa FDM to my Elegoo Mars Pro. For many years, I’ve been printing (mainly miniatures for games like Dungeons and Dragons) with a wide variety of models and model sizes. Now, I’m sure I could dial in some settings even finer and get better prints from both, but right out of the box, with just a build plate setting, I was able to get better prints than from my Elegoo, which I think I’ve exhausted with tweaking. One very nice thing about the Creality is that it allows you to adjust your settings directly from the front of the printer, so if you change your mind or get a sliced file that needs tweaking, you can do it without opening up your computer. I haven’t utilized the cloud service that’s offered, as I just use my prints that I’ve purchased or found on Thingiverse for free. With some high quality resin, this is hands down a way better printer, even if you never tweak any settings in your slicer. I for one will be doing so to get better quality eventually, but color me impressed. So my Elegoo is now primarily for terrain and scatter, but the Creality is my go-to for all minis that need detail.
